Christians were not there by mistake or chance.
This is sure that Christians were first simply because muslims came 600 years later.
What I meant is that US is a christian nation that is just observing the cradle of christians being erased. For non belivers, they are observing a new genocide without reaction, except giving weapons to the wrong people.
No the root of ISIS is not the same, They do not care about being first or second, they know they came after christians, but for them christians are wrong and so they must be destroyed. We are currently seeing the rise of fundamentalism in that religion. As with most religions they go through phases of fundamentalism and purging. Christianity has gone through similar phases as well resulting in the Inquisition and later a lot of persecuted Christian sects migrating to the Americas. We have our share of bizarre Christian sects but fortunately they never took off.
Once again, a few percent of radicals within a certain group are pushing their will on the majority of that group, to wreak havoc upon the masses they oppose. It's a f*#ked up world we live in.
Isis gets its money by stealing, online scams and other nefarious ways including taking hostages, etc to the tune of millions overall. I heard a blurb on public radio (shielding myself from all the rocks being hurled at me!) that laid out how they got their money. I was pretty surprised at how they were able to back themselves. They are evil pricks regardless of any religious stance. I'm amazed that the majority of people will stand aside and let them control the people the way they do. "Our way or die" seems to work for them.
