No worries Stan they were all thoroughly vetted by the United Nations and screen by our Foreign Affairs over the last couple weeks. Zero chance of anyone dangerous getting in. :rolling: This is after the previous government told us they couldn't reasonably screen them within 6 months. Legit refugees who have been victims of ISIS I have empathy for but now I have no confidence what we are getting.

ISIS captured portions of Syria over a year ago. In one area, they picked up over 5,000 blank Syrian passports! All they had to do was fill in the blanks. They are real Syrian passports, but ISIS has the capability to exploit and utilize them now. Plus, I'd bet money they are cranking out fakes, as well.

Yes, Mr. President, let's just let them on in! What a great idea! What could possibly go wrong...go wrong...go wrong...go wrong!

"ane we have a Republican controlled Congress (both House & Senate) that votes continually for tax cuts and other gifts to the rich who finance their campaigns while moaning that Social Security and Medicare have to be cut to make ends meet for the rest of us. The President can't get anywhere - he is just one guy that is politically stymied and has been for most of his two terms."
Really? You must have forgotten that the first 4 years of this guy's presidency both the house and Senate were controlled by HIS party thru Reed and Pelosi. It only started to shift in 2012 when the republicans took the house and then in 14 the took the Senate,so essentially he had six years of running the show unencumbered. Not that it matters cuz he always has his "pen and phone".

"The one area I don't understand why he supports however, is the latest Pacific trade partnership proposal"

Ummm wasn't it Bill Clinton that started all this free trade nonsense?

As far as social security and Medicare... we wouldn't be having the discussion if that horse faced Lyndon Johnson didn't change the law and dump all the money from social security and dump it into the general fund so he could find his "Great Society" movement. Our should I say, not so great society. Or maybe it was to be able to fund the Vietnam war that him and Kennedy were so proud of.... whatever the case may be, it was a bad idea.

I'm far more worried about this than ISIS. It's part of a plan to convert NA into an economic zone with 3rd world wages within the framework of globalization.

It's part of what I call the "Triad of Idiocy", which is Islamic terrorism, intentional economic instability, and ecological blackmail.

Quite frankly, ALL three have equal billing and importance.

The Republicans and Fox News have been strong enough during his entire administration to block many of the changes the President was pursuing to improve the lot of the middle class. If you think the middle class would thrive with most of the slime ball Republican candidates (not Trump or Carson fortunately) you have been drinking the cool aide this time. And if you are going to mention Clinton, why not point out that he was the one that removed the legislation to limit greedy Wall Street risky deals that brought the whole economy down - one of his most stupid moves ever - not just Monica. Like I said, I am not a dyed in the wool Democrat and used to be a Republican years ago, but no more. Fortunately the public is getting a little more savvy. My preference would be that the nominees of the Democrats and Republicans would be Sanders and Trump. Either one being elected would send a message to all the politicians on the take. My point was that the President doesn't deserve all the crap he gets. If folks here want to send their kids to the middle east to fight in those never ending wars, have at it. I say the President is right to limit our troops being on the ground over there, as it would be a never ending battle with lost American lives for nothing and tons of wasted money. Let them destroy themselves - their beliefs ensure that will happen. But I know I am in the minority on this site, and that is fine with me.

Thank you.
This is no joke. I started this thread to focus all our anger onto one common ground. It keeps it out of all the other threads so those threads can stay focused on a good purpose of us helping each other.

Some news from europe...
- others " small" terrorist attacks in France : people with knives trying to attachk police or jews ( today in Marseille for exemple )
- in Germany and austria women arassed and some rapes and many robbery during year night( in Cologne for exemple ) by large groups of refugees. Police and politics tried to cover up this but cannot succed due to the numbers of cases ( more than 500 women arassed in Cologne near the railway)

Everything we were warned about but ignored by the politicians and by the liberal media.

Both of whom are now completely sucking on the Muslim teat.
Please change my status to

I almost never comment on this stuff, but at the risk of alienating myself from this forum, I'm making an exception.

I agree with pretty much everything above except for the Trump/Sanders thing. Donald Trump is not smart enough to be POTUS. He's nothing more than a school yard bully.

It terrifies me to think that there are that many Americans that believe in him to elect him. I don't think that will happen.

I'm not talking about political correctness, I'm talking about basic common sense.

Much like Mitt Romney, Trump has given no details about his proposed policies/plan. When pressed he evades, deflects, and avoids the issue.

There is no way that a silver spoon blowhard that's bankrupted four companies during his career has the slightest clue as to how to be POTUS.

That's it for me.

in a Vancouver paper
Vancouver Sun states that Syrian refugees will be paid a meal allowance per person per day of $15 for breakfast, $16 for lunch, and $30 for dinner by the Federal Government. Thus, a typical family with four kids will receive $186/day or $5,580/month for meals alone, and this from a government that somehow cannot afford more than about $1100/month for all expenses for pensioners.

20 hardcore years in the Army and I'm making a few hundred more than that per month in retirement....

The female mayor of Cologne is telling women to "dress conservatively and not go out alone"...you know, so YOU don't provoke and entice the welcome visitors to the city. Last time I was in Cologne was 1992. A beautiful, historic city with so much going for it. Now, the invaders are raping the women pretty much at-will and with the blessing of the mayor. There were 150 cops out on New Year's Eve against over 10K "peaceful" marauders, yet they deployed over 2000 cops and military against a group of about 600 that had a peaceful protest AGAINST the invaders. The death of Germany is nigh.

At least Trump isn't being bought by anyone. Talk about a blow hard, go ask Colonel Sanders where he got the money to run. Remember the story of throwing stones in a glass house?
