I'd be careful on calling, they start getting a lot of calls their gonna think it's something hot and want more money like azz monkey garage prices.
Is that number 204 on the roof like one of these markers that auction uses? They may have had a auctioneer in there already ala like the Texas hoard.
I'd play my cards close to my chest on this one, it appears to be in the Fresno lot via the web site. (there's a 1975 small Fury @ Pomona yard)
Here's the VIN Decode:
PE21F74173051
Body Type: P = Plymouth Fury
Price Class: E = Economy
Body Type: 21 = 2 Door Coupe
Engine: F = 318 230HP 1-2BBL 8 CYL
Year: 7 = 1967
Sequence Number: 173051 = 73051st Vehicle Built
I'd go down there with a trailer and cash in hand, don't bring your brand new 2021 50 grand truck either (or hide it out of sight), dress as if you are a member of the trade, don't go on the weekend where interest in it may draw attention. Go on a day where they maybe busy in other high turn over items, better yet go on a Monday and they may still be hung over from the weekend (LOL).
Don't show right off interest in it, do like Mike the 'picker', go in the yard for something else and buy it say to break the 'Ice'. Then ask BTW what about the 1967 Fury.
Depends on how much is left of the carcass it'll be worth $500>$800, if they want more I'd walk, and come back 2/3 months later and rinse & repeat.
