hey guys, I made a deal on a beautifully loaded up 1969 Chrysler 300 and was told it had a suregrip as well as the 440 hp motor in it. I took a pic of the fender tag and decoded it and found that it in fact was not an hp motor and no mention of sure grip came up off of the fender tag. so I went back jacked it up and cranked the rear wheels over, they turn the same way. when you hold one, the other can be turned but with a bit of force is required. pretty sure that is a s.g just the clutches may be worn or possibly dry? I did find code 1 checked in the broadcast sheet under sure grip where as if it doesn't have a s.g diff it is usually blank right?
