Thanks. Wife will want tunes while pulling horse trailer. I spent the day redoing wiper bushings and changing idle air control.

Are you sure you don't want this one? Can't recall but think the six disk changer also hooks up to it? Anyway, got that too.

1984 to 2001 1/2 ton; to 2002 3/4 & 1 ton direct interchange. One ground, one antenna, two horizontal plugs by memory. One rear mount, (I think, memories are getting fuzzy) two screws in front.

Awesome...but I just dug out the old cassette tapes I had boxed up in the basement

It plays both CD and cassettes!

Are you sure you don't want this one? Can't recall but think the six disk changer also hooks up to it? Anyway, got that too.

I put the CD/Cassette player in my 79 300 just had to get the connectors from the cd/cass vehicle (98 Caravan) and splice them in. Works great!

No worries, that's why I retired that radio, wanted the new features. If you check Amazon or eBay I think I've seen some "modernized" factory radios.

Found the ones I was thinking of, one example:

IIRC, bluetooth in these is for streaming only, it will NOT act as a phone.
