Can anyone tell me how to know what year these rallye wheels were made. They are 15x6.5 is all I know. I was told they came off a Challenger.... but not excatly sure if that's positive or not. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Value ? Etc. Thanks in advance guys.

The center caps started in about 1973.

I bought some 15x6.5 Rallye Wheels that were on a '76 Charger SE, factory, in the salvage yard. Standard on the Charger SE in that model year. Compared to the "desirable" 15x7 E-body wheels, which looked the same, they were very reasonably priced!

Looks like those have been nicely refurbished! The factory trim rings did not get that close to the middle of the wheel, but had more of a gap. Aftermarket 7" wheel trim rings?

Not sure about the trim rings. All I know is the wheels are in great shape. Was wondering what they would be worth. Minus the tires.

The pictured wheel showing the number stamps was made in 1977 at Motor Wheel plant # 2. Some additional numbers might be found near the valve stem.

This 15" x 6.5" Rallye Class I wheel part number is 3699461 which was used from 2/17/1976 through 1977. These wheels will fit it, but were not originally equipped on a Challenger. In 1977, they were originally equipped on a B-body Fury or Monaco, or a Charger SE.

The 1976-1977 15" x 6.5" Class I trim ring was part number 3699100. The trim rings on the pictured wheels might be that number, but could also be the earlier 3461043, Mopar Performance reissued P5153310, or possibly reproductions.
NOTE: The sizing and numbering of 15" trim rings for 6.5" and 7" Rallye Class I wheels from the mid 70s and later Chrysler re-issues is somewhat convoluted because Chrysler reused the same part numbers for different sizes and production releases.

The center caps, or domes, on the pictured wheels are the 1972-1974 version, part number 3461458. They have been refinished in a color/texture different than original.

1977 wheels were originally equipped with a similar style two-piece dome with cap, part numbers 3699312 (dome) and 3699008 (cap), which continued in use though 1978.

A similar two-piece dome with cap, part numbers 3699006 (dome) and 3699008 (cap), was used with 1975 models through 1976.

Any idea what these wheels are worth?

The trim rings are for sure aftermarket. We bought them at the Carlisle Nats. The center caps were gotten by some trading. The kid liked the solid centers better. When we bought the car, it had 2 solid, and 2 with the center ring. I found a guy on here that had the same issue and we traded. The paint on the centers is just some single stage I had. Asked if he liked the light or the dark better, he wanted the dark. Actually getting ready to paint my 1990 Dakota convertible with the rest of that gallon. When we bought the car, we got the same story from the previous owner. That those wheels came off his owned since new 1970 Challenger. I never checked dates, we just thought they looked cool on the car the way it was set up
