You guys are bird brains , if you knew anything about cars in Australia and the costs involved you would get it . When we buy from you it's 40 percent extra due to the exchange rate plus importing and shipping to Australia and across America can cost us north of $5000 plus gst and extra taxes . In Australia it's not expensive . In the US it would b a $3000-$4000 car which equates to what the car is for sale for in Australia .

The USA also though is extremely protective of the car market with some interesting hoops that a buyer of an imported car has to jump through.
Once exported the governing bodies never want to see that car ever come back!
They will put up tax and duty road blocks to do their best to discourage the buyer

I went through this with a Canadian car recently and my American buyer walked away because of the 3 duties/taxes due upon arrival into the USA
