lead singer for the 80's Pop/Progressive band Scandal. Two big hits. The Warrior & my favorite Goodbye to You. The band broke up along about 84 which was about the same time lead singer David Lee Roth left the Hard Rock/Metal band Van Halen. Co founder Eddie Van Halen asked her to join the band as its singer & FORTUNATELY she declined as I don't think that would have worked. Patty decided to go solo & had a couple more hits including a duet with The Eagles drummer/singer Don Henley (singer Hotel California). In 97 Patty married tennis star John McEnroe & they have 6 kids between them. Patty is still out performing today

Never on my radar but I can see how she got impregnated 6 times. This is the Patty Smith I'm more familiar with. Less looks and more talent IMHO.
