Restoring a fan clutch

I picked up a 7 blade clutch fan at Garlits.I need to clean it up, there is some surface rust on the face of the clutch. I plan on bead blasting it.

Are there any better options for coating the clutch face than spray painting? It would be nice to get a zinc-ish look to it.Has anyone used any product that works?

There is an Eastwood product that you paint on, it mimics the yellowy coating. The original plating though cannot be reproduced without dipping and re-adonizing. Not worth the effort when you consider you can buy new clutches from Advance Auto for about $24.

I keep a can of this stuff (or equivalent) in my arsenal specifically for these things.
