I have finally gotten all the mechanics taken care of on my 1970 Plymouth Fury III. My question is, what material would be best to use to reupholster the old girl with? I know that is was originally vinyl, but does the vinyl hold up? I want to keep it looking original, but do I have any other option other than the vinyl?
Thank you for your time and feedback

IMO if you go with quality vinyl from SMS or legendary, it will last longer than anything else. Vinyl is tough material. Cloth or leather won't last as long as vinyl.

I have the H3B3 on my '70 Fury III ex-WSP car. About ten years ago both the vinyl and cloth was ordered by the Upholster from SMS. Both have held up well but just as importmant is the opinion and quality of the Upholster. Get his or her input and level of expertiese if changing to cloth inserts.
