Is there anyone here that has converted the system to R134a and cycling clutch? Thanks to the evaporator thermostat for the ETR valve, its easy to wire the clutch so it disengages the compressor when the evaporator gets too cold.
But does the clutch wear out it it cycles?

A-bodies used a cycling switch with an RV-2 compressor. I saw the local service department convert a new Valiant (approx 1974 model) to a EPR system. The service manager said all they did was to install and EPR valve and unhook the cycling switch. You might do the reverse?
