Shipping Company Recommendations

Greetings!

Hope you're all enjoying the start of your weekends! I am sick of dealing with shipping/transport auction sites that bombard you with vague pricing...and they always seem to change the pricing at the last minute. Have any of you dealt with a company that you can rely on and trust? Would be shipping from Pacific northwest to Michigan.

I used Reliable Transport. (Big Orange Rigs) They're located in the Canton Mi. area. You might be able to catch a rig heading home. The big three use them all the time.
 
My '79 Dodge Magnum was shipped from Colorado to Wisconsin this Spring. I did use a broker and guess what, the transporter lives in my County. If you want his info to go direct and I suspect save several hundred dollars send me a PM. It is a husband/wife team with a Dodge Diesel and enclosed trailer.
 
I used Fastenal third party logistics to ship a transmission across the country. The prices are very reasonable. They ship from store to store so you have to arrange to the to and from the store.
