Wondering if the side (door ding moulding) is available anywhere other than junkyards

They are plentiful. Get yourself a parts book. Find the part number you need and make calls .

Yes, I just looked a couple weeks ago for a friends 69 Polara (4-door). One of the pieces was not available so I looked at 2-door pieces that could be cut down.
Yours looks green, not sure if that makes it easier or not. I don't recall the quantities.

Get the part number for the piece you need and search Partsvoice as a start. I wouldn't let the insert color dictate finding one either, as you can always change the color.

Couldn't find anything with those part numbers.
But I did find this stuff, same dimensions in several colors and about $2 per foot

If your stainless is in good shape that may be an option.
