This is the 6th Street Viaduct in Downtown Los Angeles. It was torn down a couple years ago as it was seismically unstable, they are in the process of building a new replacement (new trendy look).

Anyway my father so easily could be one of those cars there, the stories he told of racing in the river. He lived several miles south of this and this particular picture might be few years before his time. He also talked about taking the river into Long Beach (about 15 miles) to go to Lyons Drag.

I got to drive down there a couple years ago in my work truck. One of the perks of working for CAT.
