We had Texaco around here until the mid '90s. They're all gone now. I don't know about everywhere else, but we used to have B/A gas stations here in the early '60s, then they changed to Royalite in the late '60s. There may have been some Royalite stations open at the same time there were B/A stations open. Royalite changed to Gulf around '73. Gulf was purchased by the federal government and became Petro-Canada in '84. Petro-Canada was sold in '94, I think, but it kept the name even though it's no longer government owned.
