On a local show Facebook group, an advertisement for a Mopar show. I spy 2 C's and one looks like Scott's black car. I wonder when that was taken.

Owner of this car (upstate NY near Albany) also owned a 1969 Chrysler Newport "with the rare sports grain option". Was a barnfind - sitting since 1984 (He put up a Utube video in June last year about that one - The Unskilled Mechanic). Later put it up for sale in Nov 2024. Also owns a '69 T&C and '77 Newport:

Yes, it is owned by a fellow named Tom from Nebraska. We met him back in 2023 at Carlisle when we brought our yellow S/23…..

I only met him that one time, but he was at Carlisle this past July too. The car is a “what if” type car, here is the story from his youtube comment….

Thank you @SportFury70 — I knew of the Clayton story and have posted about this car, but I did not make the association as the wheels had me confused -- the car used to sport road wheels under prior ownership (before @1970FuryS27 acquired this 'vert).
