Something big is coming....

One easy way to remember is that the Ford Galaxie with the 428 had "7-Litre" badges; the difference between 426 and 428 cid is a negligible fraction of a litre (0.2cid = 0.33L).

If they've actually punched the Gen3 Hemi out to 426 cid, that's a huge jump from the original 5.7L (350 cid). Apparently they showed such an engine in a new Charger in 2012 though.

It's already available as a crate engine, or at least it was at some point. Edelbrock offers a version with supercharger that has 808hp, 762ft.lb. Interesting to see if the Mopar version tops that.

My 427 GMC truck engine is a 7.0L too:drama: I still prefer 'merican sizes when discussing engines...:usflag:

It’s a marketing thing. I would call it a gimmick, but hey, they will ship something, to those crazy enough to spend that kind of money.

For powering a streetable, daily drivable car, the original big Hemi has always been somewhat unpractical.

Too big, too thirsty, too freaking heavy!

But for drag racing, and for NASCAR (when it was legal) well, the proof is in the winning.

This new model will probably be something that improves on the size and weight?

One would hope.

And then there's 10 of these

Are you serious or joking.
Have the sub-prime lenders become that greedy?
How many customers are taking the 84 month note?
When I first got my license, 36 months was "sub-prime".
