Just sorting out my horn issues and wondering if anyone can answer this question: With the dual Hi Low Spartan horns, which one is the Hi and which one is the Low? Is the high closest to the fender or the inner one? Is there a way to differentiate between them?

They are actually marked “Hi” and “Lo”. They should be in the same position on my ‘67 Imps so I’ll check orientation this morning.

The “HI” horn is closest to the radiator. The HI/LO marking is near the “S” of Spartan on the side that looks like a bugle.

Thanks Matt, took mine out and cleaned it up, putting on some paint. Odd how the HI horn is in the Low position and the Low horn is in the High position. Wonder how a guy would test them to see if they work?

Really easy. Put a jumper wire on the terminal on the horn and connect to +12volts and ground the strap. One wire is all you need to connect to positive post and you can just touch the strap to the negative post on the battery.

Ok, Was wondering how these connected to a ground, BTW what is the strap? The mounting bracket? Obtuse is my middle name!
