I have been installing a new stereo in Goldie. I am starting to get all the pieces together. The 2 factory locations have 2- 31/2 speakers, so they have no bass. I put a subwoofer and amplifier in the trunk. I don't want to see them so a built a false wall to hide the components.

I will cover it in carpet and then the holes will be covered in speaker cloth. I will have all the rest of the parts to compete my installation by next weekend.

I had no idea you were a boom box kinda guy, Mike.
I can trust that you will be tastefully restrained. :p

Yes I will be restrained, I only did it because there is not bass from the 3 1/2" speakers. I can't stand hearing an over powering bass, I just want to try and achieve as balanced of a sound as possible without seeing anything but a factory set up from the interior. I built the false wall for function and hiding the subwoofer, but thought I could be a little creative and personal with it.

Very tastefully done my friend.. Nice work. Keep the pics coming. You know how we are regarding pics.

For that added touch how about a Chrysler badge on an angle in the upper left corner in a Fender font. :)

Lots of great ideas guys I have a neighbor who has an embroidery machine, so I can do some experimenting on some extra material and play around with it.

Looking good!

Got me thinking though.. For ultra stealth mode, I wonder if it possible to make the woofer look like a spare tire? The woofer itself would be the "rim", and the box would be the "tire". Hmm..
