The 383 Finally Made It On The Dyno

Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way with all the tips and tricks to get my Mopar where it is today. I got the 66 Fury's Chrysler 383 on the Dynojet today and was pleasantly surprised.


Below is the short I created this morning.

 
Edlebrock RPM performer heads and intake manifold.
Howard Bigmama Rattler Cam
Forged pistons
Holley Brawler 750
Max Torque 455@3900 RPM
MAX HP 444.9@5500 RPM

Thank you, I was surprised to see those numbers. That was at 36 BTDC, I’ll leave it at that. It’s a conservative approach.
I’m guessing I’ll loose about 20% to the rear wheels. Maybe I’ll take it to a chassis dyno one I have have it back in the car. I’d like to know that number too.

Apples & Oranges, but some numbers to look at, 69 Chrysler Dyno data, Manifolds, Headers, Carbs
