H all,
I finally have a press so I did my LCA bushings on my '66 Monaco.
I started to install the LCA today and it didn't look right.
Should the stud be pressed all the way until the lip touches the inner bushing metal?
I'm thinking it should.
Here is how it is now, that doesn't look right.
We stopped when the stud came out of the bushing, I think that's where I went wrong.
Thanks for your help!

Look at the backside of the LCA, the stud should be inserted in the round hole at the back of the hex fitting until it is flush with the outer edge of the hole. If you are there, it is properly installed. The bushings are about 2 1/8" wide so there will be some free space on the collar.
