I have a 66 Fury convertible (III) that I bought a year ago previous owner was going to part it out, he mangled the rear cutting the trunk and rails out, the fire wall been cut and brake pedal mount been cut no wiring at all. I noticed it has a ford rear 4 link suspension and front K frame assembly disc brakes all around. So I’m thinking of doing a full frame off rebuild heard that the ford expedition has the best frame for this any body done one of these unibody to frame builds? any advice? Bought my power plant it’s out a 2017 Ram 1500 73k on the dash auction truck in a accident.

I'd keep those wheels hidden somewhere but not on that car. You said it was converted to Ford front and rear suspension. Was it done properly? Why do you want to change it to a different Ford suspension? The body seems nice, why don't you get a parts car for it. With a parts car you can use the dash, wiring and other missing parts.

It’ll be in the air tonight to check out underneath, but the fuel tank is in the car I’ll update later

So I got it in the air and “oh my” extremely bad body swap, frame stretch job. Thank the almighty for “ friends in low places”. Already have a rolling chassis gotta work the body a bit and join them in matrimony if all goes as planned up and running by 7/25/2024. LETS GO
