What's the torque (and HP) rating for a 1970 Fury with the 2bbl 383?

Would it at all be worth converting a numbers matching 2bbl to a 4bbl?

There is a significant cam and compression change, which would require a rebuild. If that was your plan, sure upgrade away. A 4bbl intake and dual exhaust would wake it up and a new timing chain would put some throttle response back in it, if high mileage or just original.

By the time all is said and done, you'll have between $4 and $5 grand in a competent / quality rebuild.

Well I'll be putting enough money into body work and I don't need it to be a screamer, so I'll probably just beef up the stock motor a bit.
