Nikon P900 with 83x optical zoom. It is a little on the bulky side though. I put some arrows on the wide shots to show where the zoomed image is.

My P510 has a 40x. It's about half the weight and really decent zoom too

It's in the DSLR size and weight category. The advantage is not having to carry around a bag of lenses.
