Vacuum Line Connection

Hi all,

Hoping someone can direct me where to route this vacuum line. From what I can tell it goes to the hvac area under the dash. The end under the hood is just hanging there.

You might use the tap on the power brake vac fitting.

The circle to the right shows the vacuum line coming down from the firewall. The one on the left shows where it connects to the tee on the intake manifold. 65 Vintage shown.

That's how they did it in 68 also.

Operates the heater/AC dampers.

Typically AC controls but also Vacuum Gauge and also trunk releases

Thanks a lot guys! My heater controls aren't working so that's probably what the vacuum line is for.

It is not a tee. It's the fitting that brake boost gets it's feed from and the there is this little "tube" sticking out of it.

Found the fitting and got the vacuum line connected. The push buttons on the hvac unit are working now but the heat selector lever still won't slide. Doesn't seem like this would use vacuum though. Guessing the linkage might be corroded. I'll have to look into it a bit more.
