Vintage Mopar Parts Business in NJ

If everything is properly catalogued and organised and you had had your own facility this might be an ideal opportunity for someone to pick up the torch. It wouldn't be surprise if an outfit like National Moparts picked this up.

IMHO, There's some red flags on this deal. You are just buying the inventory and not the business.

You will have to start from scratch with everything. You won't have his suppliers, you won't have his customer base, no "good will" etc. Then there's the logistics of moving storing and reorganizing all the parts. I'm not even going to touch on financing because you aren't going to see the books.

Chances are this pond is already fished out and the high dollar E and B body stuff are already gone. What you have left is K car pinstripes and low dollar crap like that.

You hit the nail on the head John! The only thing "done" here is that some of the applications are looked up. This would be a monumental amount of work to get moved and organized. Trust me, you would get sick of moving and looking at parts.
