I want to go with a different color. What do y’all think? I was thinking black but I can’t decide.

I didn't realize my 78 NYB had the wrong color vinyl (black).

I did a little research and found out that Chrysler never put a black vinyl top on a blue formal. The fender tag said it was born with a blue vinyl top and that is what I put on her.

Vinyl tops were usually keyed to the interior color.

The green over GY4 looks really nice.

If that’s the color she came with! I say stick with it... :mob:

What are your plans for the car? Are you changing other stuff too?

This is the original color top the car came with. For now I plan on keeping it pretty much stock. Going to keep the paint job the same color until I can afford a new color and/or it is due for a new paint job but I’m just not a fan of the paint and the top essentially being the same color. I’d like a little contrast between the two. Once I can afford a paint job I’m thinking of going with like a mellow orange paint with a chocolate brown top. Something very reminiscent of the era*.
