Welcome, 440C-Body68

nice story (not too long), post up the fender tag and we'll see if that says anything unusual.
Sorry it took so long to post this.

I'm trying to find parts vendors that include C bodies in their offerings. Companies like Classic Industries, Year One, etc. seem to specialize in A,B and E body parts. Are there vendors anyone out there know of that have new C body parts? I've already ordered quite a few parts from Rock Auto and I know of people like Murray Park that have some very hard to find parts but are mostly offered as used parts. Right now, for instance, I'm looking for upper control arms for my '68 New Yorker and if anyone knows where to find these original NOS type parts, it would be greatly appreciated. Still, I'm looking for new parts vendors for the inevitable part(s) I'm going to need. Also being new to ForCbodiesonly.com, I may not understand how to search the massive forums and posts that exist on this site so any advice on how to navigate beyond general search would also be greatly appreciated.

some nice options, ordered car, ac w/auto temp? spd jun25,
This is the only 1967 or 1968 New Yorker I've seen with the auto temp control option. I thought it was a bit odd that this option was ordered but not some other options like power seat (which would have required a center console and bucket seats, so there's that), power vent window, power door locks or even front disc brakes. It's still a pretty cool car. Chrysler styling in those days was incredible.

First time on public roads as an insured and plated car in almost 40 years. Took it for a test drive after replacing virtually all front suspension parts (thank you Craig at MobileParts), gas tank with fuel sending unit, all brake cylinders & shoes, master cylinder, brake lines, all parking brake cables, shock absorbers, spark plugs, fuel pump with inline filters, fan clutch, water pump, hot / cold coolant sending unit, thermostat, all hoses and belts and radiator acid dip / paint / re-core (Glen-Ray Radiators did a perfect restore to factory condition), transmission seals and filter. Also restored operation to all four power window motors, added new American Racing wheels (upgrade from factory 14" x 6" steel wheel w/ hubcaps to 15" x 7" aluminum factory rally style) with BF Goodrich tires (P225 70R-15), rebuilt original Holley 4160 carburetor, new upper control arm splash guards (perfect factory replica from Detroit Muscle Technologies) plus numerous other little things. Big shout out to Rick Adams here in southeastern Michigan for his expertise and hard work (he has the experience and tools / garage to do some pretty amazing work). Still needs a front end alignment, new dual exhaust, spark plug wires and a super thorough cleaning inside and out. The interior is almost perfect except for some sun fading of the rear seat fabric. Lastly I must say that information I gleaned from this forcbodiesonly.com site answered some important questions no other place on the internet could easily answer.
