It has been a lot of fun so far. Funny, though, it is kind of a bastard child in the Mopar family, doesn't really belong on any of the car forums, and it doesn't fit in on the Sweptline forums either.
The plan is a Gerst IFS with the power steering rack and swaybar, full performance rebuild on the Poly 318, frame off restoration of all the bodywork, all new wiring harnesses. Still considering whether to keep the NP435 4 speed or go for a TKO500 swap. Because of cost, I'll likely keep the 4 speed and change rear gears to something more highway friendly. First gear in the NP435 is pretty low - 4.56:1 - so even a 2.76 rear gear would be fine. Kind of a big drop from 1st to second, but since I'm not going to be drag racing this, I think it will work pretty decently.
