Hi, new compadres. I'm a long time Mopar guy (circa 1940 memories in Grandpa's '40 De Soto coupe) with current rides including a 1986 Chrysler Le Baron T&C woody-side convertible, a 1964 Chrysler 300K convertible, a 2004 Jeep Sahara and a 2005 Dodge Durango. I retired as a mechanical engineer/manager from the Enron Corp before it melted down and now reside in CA while still an Iowa Boy at heart forever. Past Pres. of Chrysler 300 Club, Inc. I've come to this site hoping for help in my development of a Body Data Plate & VIN tag decoder for all 1960-65 Chryslers & Imperials. The VIN part is a piece of cake and has been presented elsewhere by others. There is some good work available for paint and trim codes so my contribution is translating and presenting the options codes. I have the 1963-64 portion working to my satisfaction and have asked here for info on 1962 Chry/Imps for now. 1960,61 and '65 will come later-with your help. Keeps me busy and challenged.
