I haven’t found the build sheet yet, I haven’t looked behind the rear seat yet but the car is super solid and was well taken care of for the most part. I have a ton of documentation for it, from what I can tell it came from Atlanta and ended up in Tennessee where I bought it. I’ve already started the restoration process but luckily the engine was freshly rebuilt and the car runs fantastic. Only rust was in the passenger rear quarter but the car is dented pretty bad. I only need a few parts but I’m excited to get it finishedWelcome, thank you for posting about PH23K1D209655 (if I read correctly — @69CoronetRT and @cuda hunter will be interested in the build sheet). all the key options, and the undercoating likely saved her.
What are your plans for the car? What’s her history?
Agree. The 1972 model year started 8/1/1971. A 1971 demonstrator car would not go into service on 8/2/71. That has to be a mistake.Nicely equipped, and GB2 is a great color. Thank you for sharing. I note the gap between the scheduled build date (on the fender tag) of Jan. 28, 1971 and the in-service date more than 6 months later. @69CoronetRT
