Its still in Texas, that's where it was last year. The starting bid has dropped quite a bit.. I would bet it sold the first time to a flipper . past that probably the same guy. Someone here probably knows the truth
 
I'd guess that it's a dealer manipulating the auction process. Set a low start, set a low reserve. If the car doesn't meet your real reserve, put in a bid for the car yourself (or have a friend do it). You pay some fees, but you don't sell the car for less than your target price.

Relist. Repeat.

If you're looking to get absolutely top dollar for the car, this is how you do it. Keep it out there for the right buyer to come along. This is the difference between dealers and private sales. They have the time and inclination to wait.
