What happened to the free New Yorker in Virginia thread?

Cbuddies: Am I dreaming or was there a thread about a free New Yorker to be picked up in Virginia or it would go to the crusher posted last night? This morning I looked and no thread and I checked my email account for the email that I wrote to a Mr. Pugh and that is gone as well. No record in sent email. Now we were having a heck of an electrical storm last night and maybe the thread, my replies, my email and the New Yorker somewhere in Virginia went through a time warp back to 1972 like in The Final Countdown. Great question, I can't find it either. This site has a tendency to have all signs of particular threads disappear. Usually it's for a liberal reason that most of us can not comprehend or agree with.

It looked like a promising possibility for someone.
