Or these magnums but maybe not on a 66

The poverty caps with a white car might be too much white

I just put Summit 141 legends on the front of my 66. Also, your 66 would look great with Magnums on it.

I have always liked these ............

Magnum 500's with RWL's would be my first choice.

Thrust wheels with blackwall's would be my 2nd choice.

Yeah, torque thrusters is my favorite and look good on 66's and a lot of cars. I would go with a 15x7 3.75 BS on the front and a 15x8 with a 4 1/2 BS or 4in BS for the rear. 275/60/15 rear and a 70 series for the front,.maybe a 215/70/15 up front. The 275 is close to a 28in tire. The 215 is almost 27. If you didn't purchase the Poly's yet,.In my opinion, I would go with radials. Nice set of BFG T/A's. It really comes down to what you like though.

Bias ply blackwalls like Good Year Power Cushions or the like on steel rims and dog dishes. Don't try to convice me of the benefits of radial tires. ;)

I think any of those would look great. My personal favorite would be body color steelies with the poverty caps and the RWL Polyglas from the first pic. Mean and old school looking.

I'm inclined to agree with that analysis but was just informed that they can't powder coat to my WW1 paint code which is off white, only bright white which wouldn't look the same. That means the steelies would have to be painted, which might tend to scratch easy.

I would choose the satin black torque thrusts.
I really like steel wheels with dog dish caps more but being a white car.........it is a lot of white as you mentioned before so i would choose a contrast

Well crap. What about black steelies? THose can still look good with white. Check out this '63 Olds...

black steel wheels are good. On a black car, a 69 1/2 A12 package car or spring 71 and up Mopars. Otherwise only if you drive full wheelcovers

Matter of taste. I can't stand the look of full wheelcovers on any car. Whitewalls either, except on 50s and earlier.

And also be retouched easily.

For what it's worth, Jongbloed wheels (they make racing wheels for road racing) recommends against powder coating wheels. The durability and flexibility of powder coating is the reason. The finish is tough enough that you can't detect cracks as easily as with painted wheels. Not much of an issue on a street car, I know, but something to think about.
