i rebuilt a nyb it has a 440 9-1 compression motor i installed a set of 72 heads cut to make 90cc its close to 9-1 it has a old school 440 magnums /six pack cam with wat they called battle ship double valve springs they was good for .500" lift cam i installed a carter avs carb (it was standard on a 71 c body ) i rebuilt the 440 my self i used te best parts i installed a double roll timing set . the motor has 45 psi @ idle &70 psi on the highway it is good . mechanical wize its great . i bottomed out while coming off a extreamly rough rail road crossing the k member ds messed up . no one here will take it on . i was going to fix a little body damage from a side swap accident (some gal hit me with no insurance) 4 yrs ago & the guy that tryed failed . i have all the paint clear coat basecoat even the primer . i bough sanders & sand paper . everything but filler . i even bought patches for th small a mount of rust on it . if i could find someone to fix the k member i would keep her . i was driving i as a dayly drive then this happened . i put in a factory am/m radio & new speakers i didnt get enough from the ins to fix it or buy different they say its worth 6500 but wih the dents & poor pant + the damaged k member its only worth $4000 so thats whst i asking. here r some before the member got damaged it was ordered out as a heavy tow car it has a 1972 class V 9000# HITCH BUT THE 3.23 sure grip gears was gone before i bought her it still has the 8.75 rear end in i added a set of 200# air shocks the last 2 pics r of the messed up k member i need as much as i can get cause o=im broke (on disability no pension from work it will start & run but it has a damaged oil pan it drove after bottoming out the steering wheel isnt right knew it was hurt i just didnt know how bad

Where is the body damage? That looks like it is worth lots more than $400. I agree with Knebel on the price.

r right it was a typo the ins said the ins said a fair market price was $6500 but they drug it down to $ & i got $5500 & then with my deductibles they pulled it lower to $4000 last nigh when i was no going good for me email me at ka0mek@sbcglobal.net & i will give u my cell # . i hate tearing or sending emails (its like texting too much i would much rather talk even with my speach impediments have all the paint & primer to repaint the car in the factor color , but i hsave no place to do it or gun to shoot it with (if i was to try to paint the entre car @ my house the city i live in would have a fit(if a neighbor was to file s complaint so im sol + i disabled)hopefully someone wants a nice cnb & can fix the the k member

minor body damage on the passenge side back when i had $$$$$$ IT WAS A $2200 dent most was paint

. WE REPLACD THE EXAUGHST MANSFIELD GASKET ON THE DRIVERS SO=IDE WITH A RESURFACED MANIFOLD WE USED COPPER GASKETS & USED STANLES STL NUTS WITH ANTI SEEIZE N THE NUTS I DID IT RUGHT, AS I PLANRD KEEPING HER TILL I DIED'

I CANT HELP THSAT i never seen ant vinyl trim on kit anyplace maybe it was remover by the first owners
(they live in south side of Chicago i think they may had been in the mob it has 3.23 posse but itwas gone by the time got it i found a baddly detearted build sheat under te wet carpet . i replaced the carpet the head liner thas all new

i pu close to 3k to get it rod ready & 6k in the 440 + i had a frount u joint fail while on a dyno pull destroyig the 727 ytail shft so got a 727 core from my freind clay & sons llc (reiteration yard )
