Dennis. That's his name.

Yep... the lug nuts and hub evaporated from that RF wheel.

So whats going on?
Borrowed the rotors for the convertible so I could bring it home, have been waiting for the weather to co-operate to put them back on.

What's going on in the above pics? Is that cop car communications gear original?

I got the car started, but it's still doing the same thing that lead to many tow's home, I need to find the issue. I need to rebuild the carb, put on the manual choke cable, rebuild the 727 to stop the leaks, seal up the rad and gas tank, put the fast idle lock in, swap out the radio for the correct one, move the lights in the back window, and wire the alternating flashing highbeams.

The radio, siren and all the lighting equipment the car has is correct for the era, but Thanks to finally not having to rely on the foggy memories of retired officers who have been retired for 15-20 years, I now know exactly what the cars used. Because of my connection up at headquarters now, Craig (the OPP Garage shop foreman) has been feeding me all the information I need from the archives. I now know that they indeed did use two rear shelf lights, however they are were one to each outer side and both red, the grille lights are correct, the radio should be a GE MASTR II two-way, so I had to find one, and I did, So I'll make those corrections and add the flasher for the high-beams which I found out they indeed did use in '73.

Did you check the fuel pump pushrod??:poke:

Looks like you need to pull one of the driver side 73 bumperettes from one of those parts cars for Dennis too.

What is it doing? Did we discuss this I'm too lazy to go back and look.
It starts, and runs well, but then dies, when I check after it has died, the battery is stone dead. So it's a charging issue, but where I'm not sure.

Then it's likely the stat.

Cosmetics are on my list of things to take care of this summer as well, my big push is Moparfest, I have two rust free front fenders to go get in NC, I have two good rear bumpers to go get, and some other bits and pieces to swap out, hoping to paint the car next winter (winter of 2017) hopefully swap the 440/727 8.75 in at the same time.

Well than maybe he needs to build an ark.

Why 2 rear bumpers?
The '73 Fury I Bumper is a 1 year only, 1 model only bumper, only the Fury I and Fury II use it, finding rust free ones is like finding hens teeth, you hoard as many as you can find, besides, eventually I'll send all the spare stuff out to be replated, then swap it when it comes back, means less down time.

How long of a period does it run before it dies/dead batt?

Minutes sometimes, hours others.

Carb rebuilt, it was nasty inside, correct style air cleaner with a quick slobbering of paint, after all, it's going on an engine thats coming out in the near future.

So I other news.....The great Plymouth journey is a go......On May 18th the Mrs. and I hit the road to NC to pickup some parts for this one and Angel, This is our vacation this year. On a side note, thank god she's a car girl and is not only okay with this, but is looking forward to it.
