My Next Victim

That rear axle location doesn't look right.
The car's current stance reminds me of the NHRA AFX cars of the 60's

It's just a roll around rear end and front K member. The real ones have been powder coated and ready to go with all new parts.

How much time is involved in a color sand and polish like that?

Kevin
Funny you should ask, I was curious myself so I've kept track. I've got 26 hours in sand & buff and polish. Right around 3 full days. I probably have almost another full day on clean up also.

Talked to my buddy and he said it's a Roadrunner Rear end. That's why it doesn't fit a Dodge correctly. Won't be in there much longer.
Not sure why that should matter. Now if they put Abody Super Stock springs in it with the shorter front segments, it would certainly give it that A/FX look if you could even get a tire on it.

Kevin

Sir, you are gifted! Although you no doubt have earned well your retirement, I cannot help but feel sad that the hobby is lessened by that retirement.

Incredible. Well done again!

Super Bee is gone! Next up, a trunk floor in this cuda. Not crazy about doing it but it's for a long time customer and friend.

Trunk floor is out. That's the worst part of the job. Now I have to clean and prep it for the new floor and extensions and weld it in.
