Carlisle 2021

Great to be here! Medina’s meeting quite a few friends!

I love the lines of the 1969 Monaco hardtop. I would usually think of dog dishes on a Monaco as heresy, but as I have noted before, to me this car looks just about perfect.

Note: questions have been asked about whose car it is, I believe that this superb '73 Newport Navajo is owned by @chry73luv -- it is not Rip's for sure.

@Big_John is here, great to talk with him today.

I had never seen this 1970 Monaco wagon before. Really glad it was there, though I have not had a chance to talk to the owner. @T-revorNobody @71Polara383

I would have sworn that this green PA-plated 1972 NYB 4dr hardtop had sold in the past year, but I met the owner of a green 1968 NYer 4dr hardtop that stayed in the survivor tent (Edit: pictured here, courtesy of @12PACK) who knows the owner, and the latter's had it for many years.

We left a little early and got back to the hotel around 4:30. It's 5:00 now and it's pouring here!

I did the same thing, seeing the dark clouds gathering above the grounds and thinking of going to the pool. I made it back to my hotel right before it started raining cats and dogs. The rain drove guests away from the pool, so as usual there is a trade off.

More pics to enjoy. First is the blue 1971 Polara sedan hidden by Medina in my morning post. @MAGNUM77 bought it earlier this year, and we entered the grounds together this morning.

I believe that this 1971 Chrysler 300 4dr hardtop titled in Ohio sold back in 2019 in Illinois. I need to check my records to be sure. Hopefully @71Polara383 will remember.
Edit: this is indeed CS43T1C143730 -- with a new top. The car sported its original white vinyl top when put up for sale in Lamont, IL back in September 2019 (and that I saw in person at the time) but now has a black top. The telltale signs for me (I could not see the VIN, and the owner was not around) are the incorrect replacement door handles and the floor carpets. Same pile color, same edge color, same cut.

This 1970 L-code Fury iii 'vert was present last year, but I have yet to meet the owner.

Here is @Ripinator 's other 1966 300 'vert. He's redone the seats, and boy oh boy is the interior nice. Great ad for Legendary materials!

I live 92 miles south of Carlisle and we received .75" of rain in less than an hour between 5-6 pm.

Not my video......

Kind of gives you a little about the size of Carlisle. He is showing about half. Not showing any of the A, B, C, E and very little of the swap area. The swap area is at least a 1/4 of Carlisle. This is Friday so the place will be full on Saturday.

I, by accident ran into WIll and Jeff....I spent a hour Discussing his Suburban...what has happened to me?.

am returning tomorrow, I will have a fair amount of pictures to share.
