Does anyone have a source to get my power steering box rebuilt, and most importantly
ratio changed for quicker steer? The glitch is is is for my '60 Fury, (the no-name body)
Thanks for any help!

Firm Feel will not do a '60, other than just rebuild. My body style is neglected!!!

Well..... You picked a 60 Fury, Welcome to the club. :poke:

None of the vendors suggested, or probably anyone else, is going to be able to make a ratio change. The only way to do that is with some other box.

Firm Feel will rebuild your box (at least their website says they can) so that you have more road feel. I doubt if you are autocrossing a '60 Fury, so that might be your best bet. I have a Stage II rebuild for my '70 300 that I really like... and I drive that car like I freaking stole it.

Can I do a changeout with a later box? or am I stuck?
Thanks
Not to be a dick, but why the importance on changing the ratio? The 60 is never going to feel like driving whatever late model is in the driveway.

If your car is as good as the avatar pic looks, excessive modification may be considered a disservice to the car (the purist in me continues to scream "ITS A SIN!).

I can get behind anything that restores original performance and safety. I do understand some "upgrades" for lacking systems... but would weigh factors like originality, condition, use, and continued parts availability before coming to my final conclusion.

Food for thought...

Ok, you win, I will be happy with a stiffer feel.

FWIW, I have a project FL car which I have certain ambitions for, including towing... I have been reviewing brake changes trying to decide what I want to do... but mine is not even close to pristine... and Total Contact Brakes have a reputation regarding maintenance and fade concerns for a road trip, tow car.
