Just bought this car on Craigslist: 1960 Dodge Dart Phoenix sedan, solid Pewter Iridescent, Slant 6, Torqueflite, Power Steering & Brakes, 71K; car originally came from Virginia. :confederateflag:Body/floorpans virtually rust-free. I've compounded & waxed the paint so it looks a little better now. Currently in the shop for some minor work. If readers are interested, I will update with more info in the days ahead.

I consider this one of the ultimate early '60s "space age" Mopars. Very excited about the whole thing!:)

Nice! I hope you keep the slant 6 /

Very cool ride! Chances are you will be the only one of those on cruise night. Have fun.

Welcome to the forum. Would really love to see more pictures...actually lots of pictures as my wife and I are working on a 60 Dart that needs attention. Some detailed pics of a clean car from all angles would really help...interior especially. Again, welcome!

There are tutorials out there on reviving original paint finishes, you have to be especially careful with metallic finishes, here's the one I went by:

The Secret to Removing Oxidation and Restoring a Show Car Finish to Antique Single Stage Paints

I took it in stages with mine, but had good results.

Congrats on your find, the '60 Dodge is definitely a "space age motoring" type of car...…… yours is interesting in that color, not to mention the combination of options. I'd recommend also checking on the Forward Look home page, which is another good resource.

Welcome to the group!

Excellent car! I bought one a few years back as a parts car but felt guilty about stripping it. I ultimately sold it to a guy who was shipping it to his brother in Poland.

That is a spectacular automobile...

Please provide more pictures. There are a number of folks here who love FL cars... its a good bit more active here than other FL sites.

Please love her for what she is... too many wonderful cars in fair condition get turned into somebody's "vision" with silly and difficult to reverse modifications.

:welcome:
