I don't see any screws holding the "visor" on so I assume that it's held on with some kind of adhesive. I tried to lift it around the edges at several different places but it's stuck on really good.Thank you. FYI - unless I'm very much mistaken (and I could be - lol), both tachs shown are later model versions, and the instructions included are not for those tachs. They are for the tachometers that came in an all metal case with a specific plastic gasket that looks different than the one shown.
The earlier 66 tachs require a separate sending unit "can" that sits under the console cover.
