No real choice. Software has to be updated from time to time.

I realize that you don't make the software, but as a layperson I must ask why software can't be updated without a change to the "look and feel". The operational side is self explanatory, but why, oh why, do these software designers always think that they have to change the user interface?

I have also noticed that the pics in our signatures have been replaced with text...

@Joeychgo -- is the option to print multiple pages of a thread gone? That was a GREAT improvement that you made last year, I'd love to see it maintained going forward.

Its not just software - its everything. Look at cars for example.

In separate matters, it used to be possible to edit one's replies etc. by playing with text without having to worry about the visual interface. Any chance you might bring the "in-text" editing back?

I guess I was too soon in the update. The pictures and video's returned as normal.

The only thing I've noticed is that when I click on a thread with multiple pages it goes straight to the first page not whatever page I've left off

I can't find the ignore thread button.
And years of fine tuning by the use of Blocks and IGNORES, down the toilet...

Click on the members name in his avatar box. You should see something like this: See Gift, follow, and ignore next to the conversation box. View attachment 508358

One feature I used was the "recent threads" button on the top, next to the "new threads". That let me open threads that were just posted, but had already read them. I'm probably one of the few that used that feature, but I did really like it and would like to see it back.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the ads on the right side of the page weren't visible with Gold membership and now they are.

Yes, the "ignore thread" feature was nice and now seems to be missing.

Nope, I did too. Very useful button.

AFAICT, the old functionality is gone. I can only see what's not yet been opened. "Recent" was a really neat feature, I would very much like to see it back as it saves time.

If you go to 'whats new" you should see the same thing as the old 'recent posts' -- I do
