[TD]Very rare loaded 1969 Chrysler Newport Convertible – Survivor !!
This is a one family owned vehicle that was originally purchased back in 1969.The car is original and the only body work that has ever been done had done by the dealer during the fourteen years that he had the car. It is somewhat unusual as it is a Newport that was ordered with features often found in a Chrysler 300. This car has the factory front bucket seats with the center console and floor mounted shifter.and very rare driver power seat. It has the 383 cubic inch High Performance motor (330 HP, Engine Code H) with the dual snorkel air cleaner, 727 TorqueFlite Automatic Transmission, dual exhaust, and factory air conditioning, the top will be brand new this week .The power top still works flawlessly and the white boot cover is in good condition The white interior is in very good condition. The exterior paint still shines, and has just been scuffed buffed detialed clayed and now looks amazing for being original not perfect but acceptable ,The car has never seen snow and has been garaged for most of its life. This car runs and drives great, and is a real head turner on summer drives to the beach. Would make a great vehicle for someone who wants to enjoy the car as it is or for the serious collector who wants to have fun at cruice night shows. The A/C has not been used in several years, all of the components are there, needs a recharge (R12) or conversion to the current Freon product.Includes a set of Chrysler dealer parts manuals and original brochure as well as some OEM replacement parts. This car is not perfect, but it is all there.and id say and really nice driver being sold to high bidder at no reserve. I reserve the right to end the auction early as this car is for sale locally as well. This is one very rare find being so loaded and original not a better to be found at no reserve.good luck.

How far is the place from you Stan? It looks like it could be your neighborhood.

I never saw so many e-bay bidders jump on a newly posted car any time !!! LOL lol and their buyer feedbacks never match up !!!! lol lol

The whole body shots are near worthless with that amount of retouching; the detail shots are a bit better and show some issues.

I got an ebay alert on that one yesterday and couldn't bring myself to post it since it was from your friend Lash. Too bad he got his hooks into it as the colors and options make it appealing in a lot of ways, but now a lot of stuff will have been covered up.

His pictures remind me of a day about 15-16 years ago wen I was looking for a beater car. I drove down the coast to see an '83 Pontiac Parisienne Brougham. Looked nice but everything had been Armorall-ed and polished and the interior was air-freshened to an inch of its life. Looking at the undercarriage everything was covered with a thick layer of heavy undercoat. I took it out for a drive and it seemed OK. I stopped to look it over and in poking around I found a package of welding rods under the seat. Frame had been patched, as it turned out. No thanks.

It's not retouching, it is the exposure settings he uses.

Of course, ALL of his cars get the special "chassis detailing" that consists of at least three cans of half-assed applied Krylon Black spray bombs!
