Howdy,
I recently bought a fuel cell to replace my cracked gas tank for my 1966 Plymouth fury 3, The fuel cell I have now has only one fuel vent instead of the 2 on the original gas tank. Which vent should I be using for my current fuel cell? Should I get a splitter so I can vent it the same way as the OEM gas tank?

Also, does anyone know the fuel line sizes, I'm assuming the main sender is 3/8s and the vents are 5/16s is this correct??

Any info would be appreciated,
Thanks

I understand the possible reasoning behind using a fuel cell rather than a metal tank. BTAIM.

Remember that the vapors out of the vent RISE, so any exit for them will need to be higher than the tank's mounting location. Will 15 gallons be enough capacity?

Enjoy!

I don't see a need for a vent splitter. Is the fuel-cell going to be installed in the trunk?

Usually with the stock Chrysler, the main sender is 5/16 inch. On some later Chrysler products, the vents are .25 inch ID hose.

RCI customer support is probably the best source for help with your set up.

Yep, the fuel cell is going into the trunk.

I think 15 will be enough since I don't plan on using it for going great distances, ill keep that in mind when mounting the vent

Okay thanks, I guess I'm good with this 5/16 fitting and I wont have to get a 3/8
