You did indeed. I did it while the family was shopping, so it was just me and an empty house.

Sorry the camera washed out the trim panel. It actually looks a lot better.

Thank you. Once the dash is upgraded to the level of the rest of the interior, the car will be a nice driver. Of course, can't stop there. 440/727 is next. Then a paint job. All in due time, as funds permit, with some enjoyable driving in between.

I'm fortunate enough to have three original dash cars where the pads are incredibly nice. I've replaced a few over the years in my Polaras. It's a huge improvement going from bad to good

While I had my dash apart, I cleaned the faces up- one thing that really improved them was to repaint the needles back to the original safety orange which had faded to a very pale shade over the years.

Rust-Oleum Safety Orange. Covers quite well over any pale colored surface.

Make a few passes over a test panel first, I found it was quite easy to get bubbles in the paint because it's quite thick.
