disc or drum brakes? I have a set of 14" ralley style steel wheels with rings & caps or OE hubcaps for them if interested. Its the ones in my profile pic and have OE caps as well. Had to change wheels and wheel size with the wilwood brakes I put on.

if you upgrade to a factory OEM disc brakes for C – body, you'll need 15 inch rims.
If you want to go conservative, 15 x 7" police rims are sharp looking and usually don't cost an arm and a leg. 235-70R15 is a tire that doesn't hit.

A member on here (challenger340) is parting cars from a wrecking yard that has old Mopars. I would contact him and see if he can get you rims to fit. I would go with 15 inch if you can get them. Easier to get tires in 15 inch and they will work with most disc brakes if you upgrade.

'68 Satellite/Fury hubcaaps are some of the best looking hubcaps ever made, sportier looking than most wheels.

14s and hubcaps wont work on a disc conversion using later factory parts but they may work with aftermarket conversions

Oh ok I thought so I see people with mustang wheels Masarti wheels and jeep wheels etc I just need something to roll on without hitting upper control arm

thanks @Turboomni. Your help with those threads, and others who keep centralizing the knowlege, was great. appreciate ya brother.

@stu’s68furyiiirat, a 20 inch rim on a slabbie might be difficult to execute.

to make it work, people tend to need a "skinny" tire that wasnt even invented when that car was designed. the vehicle weight, suspension geometry, brakes, etc makes it ride "funny". also hitting one little pothole at speed could result in wrecking the rim/flattening the tire - both expensive fails if it happened.

it can all work, folks do it all the time, and be a good look for you. just urge plan it out carefully, including how you wanna drive the car (eg. low speed cruising or high performance stuff) before committing to that diameter wheel on a slabbie. good luck boss.

well they are definitely on there. so bolt pattern must be 5x4.5. Dunno the year of that wheel though, or width, or offset.

My observation is the wheel my have a slightly positive offset (meaning it will fit closer to the mid-line of the car. depending then on width of rim/tire combo, you have to watch for intermittent (like on turns for example) or constant interference with body and/or suspension. center cap in front gone or wont fit?

It not, that's great too. its a cool looking wheel. nice looking car.

if you dont mind, can you share with the forum what tire size and rim size your Fury had with the Jeep wheels. Year of that wheel too. Whether you have front discs or all drum brakes. somebody else might be able to do that setup.

Thanks.!

I just seen this on fb market place I got the same wheels they are off 96-99 Jeep Grand Cherokee but they hit the upper control arm a little on mine it has a 235 75 15 any other opinion would be helpful

i dunno my Jeep wheels very well. what years had 5x4.5 bp in a 15" inch or more diameter, for example. eyeballing that black fury, the wheel looks like 15" or 16" diameter.

i dont recall 18" or 20'" diameter wheels having a bp and bksp that would work on slabbie - again dunno for sure.

as to a 235/75 tire on a slabbie? thats a really tall (like 29 inches) tire for a car designed for 14" and 15" diameter wheels on maybe 25-27 inch diameter tires. probably hard to get taller size tire then that to "work" on a slabbie without mods to the car. somebody might chime in who's done/tried it?

update:

few years back some members sorta kicked this around here: 215/75-14 tires on a 1967 Chrysler Newport Custom

might be some useful information for you.

Good luck.
