Why is it me who always posts the ridiculously expensive c-bodies, ha ha. I again think like the green '67 VIP that I posted, this 'vert is worth $20,000-25,000. Here is some history that us fellow c-body folks know about the car, paging @ayilar.......

1) The car is VIN PM27T0D126821

2) It was for sale in July of 2022 here and is the one from CoPart in Rochester NY....... https://www.forcbodiesonly.com/mopar-forum/threads/1970-plymouth-fury-iii-convertible-copart.72722/#post-1113775,

3) It is the car ayilar posted about back on August 26th 2022 in the "Last Of The Convertibles" thread here....... https://www.forcbodiesonly.com/mopar-forum/threads/lets-play-a-game-last-of-the-convertibles.14750/page-30.

4) It is one of very few "T" code 440 Furys to exist.

THIS TIME we know.......

1) The car was posted 4 weeks ago now according to the Facebook ad.

2) The car is now located in Fair Lawn New Jersey

3) The car went up about $25,000 in price to $50,000.

4) There is not much information about the car, it just says and I quote from the ad below.......

1970 PLYMOUTH - FURY III 440 4, 21/2 stain steel exhaust. Runs just perfect!! (not a laser - there was not Fury on MKP) Call for more info.

Here is the newest ad for it with some pictures.......

Thank you for posting. Here is the link to the Last Convertibles thread post

Question:
Whats bigger,,
the hole in the washer bottle,,
or
the hole in the listers head.....

.

$50k with a shag dash. No one here will get shagged with that deal that's for sure.

Just a dash cover...not like in the old days, when we glued thick carpet that looked like rabbit fur on the dash pad!

For that money, I'd expect an expertly-detailed engine bay (with new washer reservoir!), a view of the (cracked???) dash pad, and a few pics underneath and in the trunk. And to be delivered to my door.

Whoever installed those speakers in such decent-looking doorpanels deserves to have their balls kicked up to their esophagus.

Somebody disagrees with the hypothetical suggestion of retributional violence against unnamed persons on behalf of inanimate objects??? :)

Wonder how it got through Copart. Usually they are salvage cars. This one does not look bad but just not worth near what they are asking.

The Copart original listing showed a pooched engine/ fire or something, they must have installed a $20,000 engine for it's new price tag.

It's too bad one of us couldn't have gotten it form Copart. :(
I paid coparts $60 extortion fee for according to them, the privilege of bidding on this car. Still was not allowed to bid on the car without a broker. Don't care what they have in inventory anymore!

At some point we will actually look upon this as a decent price on a rare car.
We'll look back in 10 years and wish we'd grabbed it.

If the gov't will still allow us to buy $16/gal gasoline to be used for non-sanctioned driving purposes, that is.

Does that engine compartment look that much better than it did in the Copart pictures? I think hardly at all and would expect pristine at the listed price. I can make it look pristine but they have to give me the car and it might take as long as a pair of door panels from SMS. Just sayin...

If I can't find a 70/71 Polara this Fury would be worth a phone call. We are in the same state , not to far apart. I'm certain he's fishing with the price and has plenty of room. If not, he's gonna own it a long time.
