Why are you living in Germany? Never mind, probably not as bad a decision as Orlando. I can probably help with the 77 NYB stuff, but warn that I tend to be slow and a PITA. Send me a PM with your wants and I'll see what I can find. I don't do numbers, so someone else will have to help with decoding.

Welcome to the site. You should find parts, cars, tech information, and like minded enthusiasts for the C Body Mopar hobby.
The Welcome Wagon thread is to introduce yourself, show off your car and tell your story.

If you are looking for parts or cars please don't post your request here. Post them in a wanted thread in the Marketplace forums.
Make sure to read and follow the sale rules there.

Thanks and we'll see you on the forums.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply,
Why not live here in Germany?
This is the car capital of Europe, the roads are the best in the world, people are very friendly and have deep pockets for their American vehicles.

Thanks, Bob

@Sport Fury 67 — thank you for decoding the fender tag. Loaded Hurst!

One correction: H53 is AutoTemp which (through the 1970 model year, 1971-1973 is better) is a real pain to fix and unreliable.

Also: I think I read R48, not R43. If I’m correct then CM23U0C217854 has a power antenna.

Interesting Hurst. S61 Tilt, C16 Console, H53 AirTemp, and P41 Power Door Locks. And this elusive R code. It looks like a 46, but there is no 46 listed anywhere, including the Wise and Red books. Is it a 48 or a 45? I'm going with a corroded 48. Maybe we'll find out from the OP if it has a power antenna. I have only ever seen Tilt and Console in Hursts, so this leads me to believe this car was actually ordered by someone (or dealership), not just produced and sent to unsuspecting dealers.

No R46:

Which is what I suggested :poke::lol:

PS: a power antenna (R48) also makes sense, given the car has virtually all the other power options.

@Bob with one O — can you share some of the story of the 1970 300 Hirst?

CM23U0C217854
OMG, where to start...My Boss found this car on Ebay in Berlin as a last car that he would buy and its my job to make this car perfect as possible. The car came from California, but it seems that it sat outside uncovered for many, many years. The odometer showes 29k and I believe this is correct. From sitting outside there is MAJOR rust issues and someone tossed in a halfass interior over the rust. Yes the car does have a power antenna and that is something I need to find. But overall the car is worth fixing. All the outside trim is there but a few of the interior plastic pieces are missing or broken from the hackers that did the interior. Items Shared on 1-23-2023 I attached a link to the project. There is some pictures of a 1971 New Yorker that we are using as a donor car to fix the rust. As soon as I get the Poland pictures off of my phone I will update . Greetings from Germany, Bob
