Well, I'm going to take three Valium and a beer and not let you get to me.

I had the misfortune to rent a POS KIA Soul(less) last year. Rotten POS crapcars! They have electrically-assisted power steering and brakes. They are very grabby and skittish cars! I couldn't wait to turn that sh!twagon back in to the rental car agency! They look cool, but they are junk, pure and simple. Let the rodents keep them!

they are ruining cars with this assisted BS..........learn how to break and park the frigging car yourself - a back-up camera is assinine.

Second point: If the car is doing half the driving for you, isn't it partly to blame in a crash?

I agree. These "assisted" cars must be part of some kind of a bad joke. They are building cars for people who don't know how to drive. The sad thing is, they are trying to push us all to the day when nobody will be driving. Self-driving cars and automated highways. I know I'm going to hate it! :BangHead:

As for the Fury, they can ask whatever they want to, but it doesn't mean they'll get it.:laughing4:

I'd hate to see it derbied though.

Christmas car. Reminds me when I was working at a Buick store in the late '70s. A customer comes in and wants a new Riviera. No sweat. Problem is, she wants it in red and green. She had a Christmas store in our town, and wanted a car that would reflect that, and advertise the store. Our sales manager was probably the only really cool car sales manger I ever knew - a guy with a real conscious and scruples! Make the customer happy! So, she spec'd out the car, he called the plant where the car was to be built, and they said "sure, we can build that, but you're going to want to get most, if not all, of the money for the car up front! She is going to be the one and only person in the US that'll order something like that!"...so, she hammers out a deal with the sales manager directly, and writes a check for the full amount! Believe it or not, the car was delivered in just five weeks! It rolled off the transport, with a dark green metallic body and a blood red leather interior, just as she ordered! And it was loaded, too, with those gorgeous Riviera wheels, sunroof, and I'm certain every power option that could be had. She was there for the actual delivery off the truck, and watched it roll into the service department for service, then the detail shop for final prep. She was a very happy customer, with a very unique Riviera.
