Hello.
was built in Detroit, Michigan, at the legendary Jefferson Ave plant...
As opposed to some ordinary other unlegendary plant...
looks like he rewired the whole car!
Rut-roh...
the legendary 440...
Again, as opposed to an unlegendary 440.....
drives like no other car in the world...
How so?
the air works but was not blowing real cold may need a charge...
OK. Here we go...:soapbox:
this beauty is a real crowd pleaser wherever we go!
"Always gets a thumbs up..."
this car has had one professional paint job...
Anytime you pay for a paint job, it's always "professional "...
the interior looks to be all original...
He looked at it...
has the original rear factory Chrysler 300 hubcaps...
But I want the fronts, too...
I know you meant "rare" but you had such a hardon to get this onto ebay A$AP, you couldn't even proof the copy.
we use a very reliable priced shipper
You mean broker grabbing the lowest bid from an unbathed O/O driving a 25 year old open car carrier with the hydraulics leaking.
And again, you meant something else besides "reliable priced" but I have no idea what.
this classic engineering marvel...
Marvel? How so?
which is a rich part of the muscle car history!...
Every car over 30 years old seems to be...
Thank you and god bless all!
If you're going to use that phony phrase, at least use upper case G in God, *******...

Thanks for your great analysis, Stan! Always a pleasure! You're right, the description is bullshit, but it's still a damn good looking car! Not my prefered color, but it's well optioned and in great condition.

I know you meant "rare" but you had such a hardon to get this onto ebay A$AP, you couldn't even proof the copy.
And I've already corrected a lot spelling errors when I've copied the text...

Actually, I love the car. Really!
I just blow a fuse when I'm fed bullchit using smoke and mirrors.
And you already know that the Reserve is twice what he bought it for so forget about ever scoring this beauty.

That was the original color of CLover's (Bob) '68 300 vert that he sold recently. I love it.

Dammit Julian, why'd you have to post that?!:BangHead:

Good looking car.

I always get a bit confused with the engine names - wasn't "Magnum" used with Dodge?

I am also confused. Wasn't the TNT 440 fitted with a dual-snorkle air cleaner housing ? And didn't it have a prominent "TNT" displayed on top of the air cleaner too ?

Oh, there will be many more, the closer we look at it.
But little things like that don't matter because
the legendary 440 is tuned to perfection, and drives like no other car in the world,

Well, I was out with my brother in my 67 New Yorker, stopped at an intersection in the hipster part of town, when a pretty girl (and her &*&^ boyfirend) walked across the crosswalk. She slowed, gave the car the look, and then looked right at me and smiled broadly. Ahhhh, that hasn't happened in years.

Oh, there will be many more, the closer we look at it.
But little things like that don't matter because

Yer right. I just looked at the exhaust manifolds. They don't look like HP (TNT) manifolds to me.

Also. . . Its green. . .

I'm thinking the same thing.....That looks like a pie tin that was ordered off of Year One years ago. There are tins out there that say TNT 400...I have one and thought I was cool years ago sporting it on my single snorkle with the wrong color engine paint.:BangHead: I've since come to my senses.

I like the car, because its a 68 three hundred rag and no other reason...... oh yeah, the white interior too

good looking car, its got Class written all over it. I would put some nice soft chrome rims on her and cruise the lake front and the Gulf Coast on the weekends.

The interior is definitely not original. The pleats are way too far apart and not padded properly to give depth to the pleats.

The engine looks to be the standard K code 440. Wrong manifolds and wrong air cleaner, but is the right color for any B or RB engine in '68.

Here is an original interior and a true L code TNT 440 in a '68 300.
